We hope you have a laugh at them, as we all did when they were taken. Some sections are members only, but hopefully there might be some information here helpfull to others.
PostRangersGolfSociety came about when a few players/friends of a local Evesham Sunday football team, Tewkesbury Rangers, began to realise they might be getting a bit too old to be running around a pitch for 90 minutes. So a few players came up with the idea of changing sports, as long as it involved balls. And the way we first started off its was "balls"............haha. There was a lot of hacking and comical moments in the beginning, but we kept the faith and over a period of time things have improved for most of us. I will try and get Pop to put in a bit of a foreword or something, for Tewkesbury Rangers, just to get a bit more of the history etc.
Well since those early days, the membership to our exclusive group has grown. And it now includes friends and neighbours of some of the originals.
Here we are at Newton Stewart 2006, with every one trying to emulate the style of Big AL, who just so happens to not be wearing his hat for a change. Ah Newton Stewart one of my favorites out of the course's we have played in Scotland. Very friendly, a course that has been always in good shape when we have played, and fairly straight forward to play. As long as you think about club selection!
